Activity 1: Fill in the pronouns

Fill in the blanks with the appropriate personal pronoun in the nominative case. (Hint: If there’s not enough context, use the form of the verb to guide you!)

  • люблю шоколад.

    _____ like chocolate.

  • Что знаешь о насекомых? животные?

    What do _____ know about insects? Are _____ animals?

  • Ангелина любит читать. прочитала уже все книги дома.

    Angelina loves to read. _____ has already read all the books at home.

  • Артём - дипломат. Сейчас живёт в Германии.

    Artyom is a diplomat. Now _____ lives in Germany.

  • Ты оставил яблоко на столе и испортилось.

    You left an apple on the table and _____ went bad.

  • обычно делаем упражнения утром.

    _____ usually do exercises in the morning.

  • Илья, Дарина, уже сделали домашнее задание?

    Ilya, Darina, have _____ already done your homework?

  • любите танцевать?

    Do _____ like to dance?

  • Дети гуляли в парке утром, очень устали.

    The children walked in the park in the morning, _____ got very tired.

Activity 2: He, she, it, or they?

Sort the nouns in the list below into the correct category depending on their gender and number. Some of the nouns will be plural!

HINT
To identify the correct gender for each noun, you can look it up in a dictionary. Or, for an extra challenge, see if you can do it just by looking at the noun ending!

Complete the story below by clicking on the correct pronoun from each pair.
